Cristiano Ronaldo has won a court case against his former club Juventus.
This means he can keep the 9,8 million euros that the Turin club paid him in back wages, Italian media reported.
Ronaldo moved from Juventus to Manchester United in the summer of 2021, and in 2023 he initiated an arbitration dispute against the "old lady", claiming that he was owed 19,6 million euros for unpaid wages during the coronavirus pandemic.
A year later, the arbitration panel decided that Juventus had to pay the legend half of the requested amount (9,8 million).
Juve appealed the decision to the Turin labor court, but Ronaldo won this legal battle as well.
