Everton footballer Jack Grealish has injured his foot and is expected to be out for a longer period of time, English media report.
The "Caramels" defeated Aston Villa (1:0) on Sunday, Grealish played the entire match against his former team, and three days later, information arrived that he was injured.
Details of the injury will be known in the coming days when all examinations are completed.
English media reports that it is assumed that it is a fracture of one of the bones in the foot, which would mean at least a few months of downtime.
Grealish has been in good form since joining Everton on loan and was probably hoping there was a chance he could play for England at the World Cup.
Just after the Aston Villa away game, Grealish had a conversation with England coach Thomas Tuchel.
Since joining Everton, Grealish has played 22 games, scoring two goals and providing six assists.
