Qarabag and Marko Janković are one step away from qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League!
It didn't look like that 10 minutes before the end of the match against Eintracht Frankfurt at the "Tofik Bahramov" stadium, when the Germans were leading 2:1, and the Azerbaijani champion found himself "below the line" - outside the 24 teams that advance.
It didn't look promising for Qarabag, especially considering that Janković and company are visiting Liverpool at Anfield in the final round of the league.
And then - a lightning-fast turnaround. In the 80th minute, a tie, in the 94th, a winning goal - 3:2, and probably a passage to the next round, whatever happens in Liverpool.
It was Janković who initiated the turnaround, tearing through the German defense with a brilliant ball 10 minutes before the end, and Karardžilijev passed to Duran at the far post for 2:2.
The victory for Qarabag was brought by local boy Bahlul Mustafazada a few seconds before the end of stoppage time, to an explosion of enthusiasm.
Qarabag has 10 points, started off great, then went into a bad streak, but now achieved what is probably a key triumph.
Eintracht remained at four points and missed the chance to come back. They would have had them if they had won...
Galatasaray and Atletico played 1:1 in Istanbul.
Everything was decided in the first 20 minutes - Giovanni Simeone gave the guests the lead, Llorente equalized with an own goal.
Both are satisfied - Atletico remained in eighth place, if they win against Bode-Glimt in Madrid in the next round, they will go straight to the round of 16, the Turks are in the zone of teams from 9th to 24th place with 10 points and will probably make the playoffs.
