It is not a common case for clubs in Montenegro to pay compensation for a football player, but Budućnost believes that Marko Šćepanović is the future of the "blue and whites".
The current champion brought in the talented forward from Iskra for 60.000 euros, making him the only player for whom Buducnost paid compensation in this transfer window. This is the largest compensation between our clubs in recent years.
Before him, Nemanja Nikolić, Miloš Milović and Stefan Hajdin arrived at the stadium under Gorica as free agents.
Italian journalist Lorenzo Lepore, who especially follows players from the Balkans, recently announced that Iskra was asking for a package worth 100.000 euros plus a percentage of the next sale, and that Buducnost was trying to lower the compensation.
The two clubs apparently agreed on 60.000, which is certainly a significant financial plus for the second-league team from Danilovgrad.
Young Šćepanović is a great talent in our football, and he has a great half-season behind him, during which he scored nine goals in the Second League and, together with three other players, is at the top of the scorers list.
Now the talent will want to prove itself in our biggest football club, which is at a new beginning with Miodrag Božović.
Another top job from the Danilovgrad club, which creates talents and sells them - to first-league teams, but also to foreign clubs.
So Filip Perović, a youth national team player, left for LASK from Linz this summer, Matija Rovčanin moved to Mornar, Aleksa Karadžić to Buducnost...
On the other hand, the transfer window for Buducnost is not over yet, so the Podgorica team will try to bring in former Sutjeska players Nikola Janjic, Milos Drincic and Srdjan Krstovic, as well as Nikola Medojevic, who played for Rijeka.
