Buducnost experienced a total reconstruction of its playing and coaching staff this winter.
The arrival of coach Miodrag Grof Božović and sports director Nenad Maslovar also brought in a number of new football players.
As many as five players were introduced today - Nemanja Nikolić, Stefan Hajdin, Miloš Milović, Nikola Janjić and Nikola Medojević - and it is certain that there will be more introductions. The Podgorica team has agreed to bring Marko Šćepanović from Iskra for 60 thousand euros, while Miloš Drinčić and Srđan Krstović are to arrive as free agents.
"Nemanja Nikolić is a 33-year-old striker, arriving from Thailand where he played for Buriram United, and is returning to Montenegrin football, which launched him, after 15 years - the popular Taki began his senior career in Grblje, while the sports director was the current director of the 'blues' Nenad Maslovar, and he built an enviable career in Rostov under Miodrag Grof Božović, Aktobe, Spartak from Subotica, Partizan, Vojvodina, Al Raed and Tobol," the club's website writes about Nikolić.
"Hajdin is two years younger, plays the left back position, went through the youth schools of Red Star and Zemun, and spent almost his entire professional career in Serbia, where he wore the jerseys of Zemun, BASK, Dunav from Stari Banovci, Radnički from Stari Pazova, Spartak Subotica, Red Star, Voždovac, Železničar from Pančevo, Čukarički and Napredak, while he spent one season in the then Romanian first league Sepsi. He was a member of the Serbian youth national team," the announcement for Stefan Hajdin states.
"Milović started from Budva's Mogren, played in Finland (Honka) and Pristina, then via Arsenal, Bokelj and Kom came to Vozdovac and the Montenegrin national team, and in recent years played for Navbahor (Uzbekistan), Qingdao (China) and Sumgayit (Azerbaijan). He went through all the younger selections of the 'falcons', and played four games for the first team," it is emphasized.
"Janjić is a well-known face to the Montenegrin public, he is 23 years old, wearing the jersey of his home club Sutjeska on two occasions he was one of the best players in the league, and this also brought him transfers: the first time he moved to Osijek in 2022, from where he went on loan to Bravo (Slovenia) and Komarno (Hungary), and the second time he signed for Zrinjski Ljetos, where he did not get a real chance and arrived at Buducnost to show the best version of himself. Janjić can play both as a winger and as a midfielder, he has passed all the junior selections of Montenegro, and has played one game for the A selection".
"The youngest of all, Nikola Medojević, is returning home: the 20-year-old midfielder and current young Montenegrin national team player has progressed through the younger categories of our club, was once included in the first team of the "blues", and is returning to Buducnost from Rijeka, where he initially played for the U19 team, later competed for the first team, and for the last six months has also played on loan at the second league team from Croatia, Orijent".
The team from Podgorica has a difficult spring mission ahead of them, to join the fight for the title from 7th place and -11 points behind the leading team Sutjeska. A place in Europe is "under necessity".
