Ivan Perišić turns 37 on the second day of February.
And it is very possible that he will celebrate his birthday in the jersey of the club he played for for six seasons, as rumors are growing that he is returning to Inter.
"Nerazuri" want the experienced Croat, and he reportedly said "yes" to the great, but at the moment, everything is in question for Perišić's club PSV.
Perišić has another year and a half of contract with the "Filips" team, but the chances of him returning to Serie A in the January transfer window are growing day by day.
PSV are categorical - they do not want to talk about the possible departure of an important player until the league part of the Champions League is over.
The leader of the Dutch Eredivisie still has a chance to qualify for the playoffs, although it is not great because in the final round on January 28th, they need to win (or at least not lose, with a few results matching) at home to Bayern.
If PSV complete their Champions League campaign, they would reportedly be willing to give up Perišić, then Inter would try to complete the transfer by the end of next weekend...
Perišić played for Inter from 2015 to 2022, with one season spent on loan at Bayern.
Now coach Christian Kivu wants him to initially replace the absence of Denzel Dumfries, who is expected to return in March.
