The weekend on the Island brings a clash between the English champions from the last eight years, as well as teams that are looking at Arsenal's back this season.
Champion Liverpool is far from its true form, sitting in 6th place, but it wants to show how much it has improved against Manchester City, a team that holds the number two position.
The Reds enter this match after a convincing 4-1 victory over Newcastle, while City "spilled" points against Tottenham, letting a two-goal lead slip in a 2-2 draw.
In the first part of the season, Pep Guardiola's team taught Arne Slot's boys a lesson.
"I particularly remember the game we played at the Itihad and for a large part of the first half we were outplayed," Slot told Reuters, emphasizing:
"This is another moment to see where we are in the development of the team. We know how important the result is."
Liverpool are expecting big battles to secure the Champions League for next season.
"We're entering the final stages of the season, so results are even more important. Apart from that first half against City and Crystal Palace, we've shown we can handle any team. We haven't found the consistency we need in our results, but we've shown against all the big teams that we can compete," says the Liverpool coach.
