Today, in the last test of preparations in Spain, the Buducnost players defeated the Norwegian Egersund 2:1.
The scorers for the "blues" were Stefan Hajdin in the 35th minute and Ivan Bulatović in the 49th minute.
Buducnost's head coach, Miodrag Božović, once again allocated playing time to the team, and the "blue and white" struggled in both halves against the Norwegian second division team, which has been on an upward trajectory in recent years and is seeking promotion to the elite.
Buducnost scored goals from nice moves: Hajdin scored after a cross from Milickovic from a free kick and an assist from Raspopovic, while Bulatovic took advantage of a great ball from Terzic, escaped the defenders and shot effectively from the right side diagonally into the small net.
Before the opening goal, Bojović had a great chance in the 9th minute – he darted into the penalty area from the right, was one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but the rival's goalkeeper was well positioned, while Raspopović shot just over the bar after a corner in the 26th minute.
And before the second goal of the “blues”, Camaj had the best chance: he was in a one-on-one situation after a pass from Terzić, opened his leg and shot wide of the goal. Then, after the goal for 2:0, Terzić tried twice – once he was close to the goal, but again the rival goalkeeper was well positioned.
Egersund reduced the lead in the 72nd minute through action on the right, a cross and a header on the opposite side, but that was all they did in 90 minutes: the remaining twenty minutes were again in a blue rhythm, and our team had another serious attempt at the very end of the game.
In the end 2:1 for a nice end to the preparations in Andalusia...
"Friendly matches and their results don't mean much. It's good that we won the second match in a row, but in any case, the most important thing is that we played against teams from different countries and that we gave all the players the same amount of time. Almost everyone played at the same time, which was important to us because many players haven't played for a long time and don't have any games in their legs," said head coach Miodrag Božović after the match.
The first half against Egersund was played by Domazetović, Raspopović, Dakić, Milović (25′ Drinčić), Hajdin, Krstović, Mičković, Vukanić (42′ Medojević), Nešković, Bojović and Nikolić, while the second half was played by Mijatović, Vušurović, Drinčić, Serikov, Vujović, Medojević, Đukanović, Terzić, Camaj, Janjić and Bulatović.
