The Buducnost players have completed their preparations in Spain and are returning home after intensive work. During their stay in Andalusia, four test matches were played, which served as a good check of form and guidelines for the continuation of work.
The "Blues" played four matches in Spain - they defeated Inchon (1:0) and Egersund (2:1), and lost to Philadelphia (4:0) and Halmstad (3:0). In those matches, coach Miodrag Božović was able to see where Buducnost is currently in terms of both team cohesion and physical fitness...
"The general impression is that we had phenomenal working conditions. Regardless of the bad weather in Spain, we managed to do everything we planned. The pitches were extraordinary. We may have had a few problems with two or three players who were injured, while everything else was at the highest level," Božović told the club's website.
Oscillations are normal during preparation.
"Preparatory periods are full of oscillations. I know from experience that it doesn't matter whether you win or lose in the preparatory period. The most important thing is that we prepared for what awaits us in Montenegro. All the players had playing time, because we have a group of football players who have not played for a long time."
He pointed out what he was satisfied with and what he was not.
"I am most satisfied with the behavior and atmosphere in the team. That is a prerequisite, it depends on it whether we can achieve a good result. I am not satisfied with the fact that many players are without games. Maybe we are missing a few more games," concluded Božović.
Buducnost will host Sutjeska in the first round of the second part of the season.
