Former Italian footballer Francesco Totti has confirmed that he is in talks with Roma management about returning to the Olimpico as a club director.
"For me, Roma is my home, it always has been, even when I'm not there. There have been rumors lately. It's true, we're talking, discussing some details and deciding what's best for everyone. I hope we can resolve this situation soon," Totti told Sky Sport Italia.
Totti spent his entire playing career at Roma, for whom he played 786 games and scored 307 goals, winning the Serie A title in the 2000/01 season.
Roma are fourth in the Serie A table after a 2-2 draw with Napoli on Sunday.
That team has collected 47 points, or one point more than fifth-placed Juventus, which they will host on March 1st at the Olimpico.
