Buducnost - Sutjeska 2:1, Podgorica's victory in the derby and the debut of Miodrag Bozovic Grof, who successfully embarked on a mission to save the back of the club's leaders, after the devastating results in the first half.
That is, of course, the main news, but it is not the only one. The other is the atmosphere in the derby, which was - surreal.
Hundreds of police officers, blockades in and around the stadium, barriers in the stands, only about 1.000 fans - such was the decor of the biggest match the domestic club scene has to offer.
While every normal club tries to attract fans, especially when there aren't any, at Buducnost these days it's the opposite: it's as if the leaders are in the interest of having as few fans in the stands as possible.
It was clear why, as soon as the game started - from the suspended north, the "barbarians" moved to the west, separated by a buffer zone from the ceremonial box, but also, never closer to those with whom they are "at war".
And from the first second, from close range - "management out", choral, but also individual, abusive shouts: insults at the people from the club's management, president Boris Spalević above all.
Such a scene, especially in the first half hour, probably distracted everyone's attention from the field, where nothing was happening anyway.
Only at the end of the first half, when Buducnost was finding some kind of thread in the game, with five new players in the starting lineup (Drinčić, Hajdin, Krstović, Nešković, Nikolić), did attention increasingly focus on the field.
Especially from the moment when Buducnost took the lead - just after the 45th minute, reserve player Milickovic (come in for the injured Neskovic) sent a cut ball into the penalty area, and Bojovic turned it into the net from close range for 1:0.
Božović was relieved, and especially the leaders of Buducnost - they certainly enjoyed the break, warm, with the score at 1:0.
Following this, less intense, but still - chants from the west, and much greater attention to the field.
In the first half, desperate Sutjeska had to react and a huge chance for 1:1 was missed by reserve player Čavor, who was saved "one on one" by goalkeeper Domazetović.
Buducnost, however, was much more concrete, freer going forward, and scored the second goal after a fantastic move in the 68th minute. Striker Nikolić pulled away, played a great pass to Bojović on the right, followed by a precise pass from the first goal scorer on the right and Ivan Bulatović's execution - 2:0.
The Count raised both hands to the sky, but it wasn't over. In the 80th minute, national team player Marko Šimun headed the ball into the net, signaling an uncertain ending.
Nikšić had one chance to equalize after the break, but Buducnost was much closer to the third goal - an attempt by Milickovic, a great chance by Nikolic, the score remained 2:1.
A well-deserved victory for Buducnost, and a very significant one - it's still too early for any other assessments.
Sutjeska's advantage at the top has already melted away, and Budućnost is now just a point away from 4th place.
