Four Montenegrin football players are an important part of Partizan's game, and the Montenegrin tandem will now command from the bench.
Damir Čakar and Đorđi Ćetković were entrusted with leading the "black and whites" after the dismissal of the previous head coach, Nenad Stojaković.
Čakar and Ćetković were his assistants until Sunday's derby against Red Star, and the defeat (3:0) marked a change at the helm.
Ćetković, a former Montenegrin national team player, has proven himself as a coach of Partizan's youth teams, and is in his second season with the first team.
Čakar, a Partizan legend, arrived this winter. He previously briefly sat on the bench of Rudar, then Novi Pazar, only to leave the bench of Bokelj this summer after only ten days.
Ćetković and Čakar will lead the team until the next decision of the "black and white" management, led by Predrag Mijatović.
No matter how long they stay, they have a tough mission ahead of them in the race with Red Star, who, in addition to being the better team, now have a four-point advantage.
