Montenegrin women's football team is preparing for the start of the Nations League, Kuč: If we are at our level, Albania has no chance

If the Montenegrin women's national football team plays a match at its level, the Albanian team has no chance in Nikšić, said Montenegrin national team goal scorer Armisa Kuč.

The best Montenegrins are in the final stages of preparations for their premier appearance in the UEFA Nations League B, which also represents the first phase of qualifications for the 2027 World Cup.

Montenegro will host Albania on Tuesday in Nikšić (2:00 PM), at the start of the competition in Group B1, which also includes favorites Wales and the Czech Republic.

"I don't want to underestimate the team, which is playing in the second round of League B, but I'm sure we have a better team and that we can win points. It's very important that we open a new chapter with a victory," said Kuč.

She said that qualifying for the UEFA Nations League B is a huge success, but that they must not be satisfied with what they have done so far.

"We need to continue to grow and play better and better. Our minimum goal must be to stay in League B. I think we can do that, because we have progressed in every segment and are not outsiders in the group. But, we are taking it step by step, first Albania as the most important match," said Kuč.

She emphasized that, as always, she promises to fight from the first to the last moment.

"It's always been that way when we play for Montenegro, it will always be that way. It's nice that our results and our efforts are being recognized, I hope that football fans will come in large numbers on Tuesday to support us and celebrate another great result together," concluded Kuč.

According to Katarina Čađenović, the Montenegrin team has a demanding match ahead of them.

"With our unity and good work, I believe we can achieve a favorable result. We are ready to leave our hearts on the field for the national team jersey and for Montenegro," continued young Katarina Čađenović.
