Montenegro did not deserve to lose to Albania, said the coach of our women's football team, Mirko Marić.
Albania celebrated their 2-1 victory in Nikšić at the start of the B division of the League of Nations, with a turnaround in the finish, nullifying the lead of our team, which was brought by Armisa Kuč in the 67th minute.
"I'm sorry for the defeat in a game that we shouldn't have lost, based on everything we saw on the field. We were closer to winning based on the game. It's a shame that we let the lead slip away so easily. It's not the first time that when we score a goal, it's as if fear creeps in whether we can keep the lead. That's football. We're already traveling to Wales tomorrow. We have a very difficult game ahead of us, to try to stand up to them," Marić told RTCG.
The Swansea game is played on Saturday at 18.30pm.
"I expect the team to give their maximum. I think that was the case today. Wales participated in the last European Championship. We have a long road ahead of us and a strong rival. Let's see if everything is okay with the injuries and get ready. It will be a challenge, we will do our best," added Marić.
