Sutjeska takes a step towards the title in Tuzi, Mornar outclasses pale Buducnost, Petrovac, Mladost and Arsenal win

Sutjeska took another big step towards the title - the team from Nikšić defeated Dečić 2:1 today in Tuzi, in the derby of the 25th round of the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League.

After today's match, Sutjeska remained seven points ahead of Mornar, who celebrated against Buducnost 3:0, and has eight points more than Petrovac, and 10 more than Dečić. Nikšić's "blues" tied their third win in a row, and reached their fourth triumph in the last five matches.

Already in the third minute, Milorad Peković's team took the lead - Asmir Kajević made a mistake, wanting to play the ball back to Andrej Bajović, and Vasilije Čavor was in the right place, who had no difficulty scoring the goal.

Mornar recorded their second win in a row, their third in the last four matches, and solidified their position in second place in the standings, while Buducnost did not play a quality game today, missing the opportunity to further move closer to the positions that lead to Europe after this round.

And after just 12 minutes, the home team had a two-goal lead over "Topolica" - in the fifth minute, Jovan Dašić crossed from the right, the ball passed through the penalty area, no one touched it, and ended up in the net.

In the 12th minute, Vesko Stešević's team doubled their lead. Stefan Denković combined with Nikola Stijepović, the Nikšić native crossed the ball into the box from the left, and Balša Sekulić was in the right place to score his 11th goal in the championship.
