Petrovac vs. Mornar, third vs. second: Adriatic and European derby

With a victory over Dečić in the previous round (2:1), the Sutjeska players took a big step towards the title. They enter the last 11 rounds with seven points more than Mornar, eight more than Petrovac, and 10 more than the team from Tuzi.

Eleven rounds before the end, it is clear that with each successive victory the team from Nikšić is getting closer to its goal. They have a chance to win three more points and make another big step today (14 pm) near Bistrica against the team Mladost Lob.bet, which is seventh in the standings.

- I don't like to talk about having one hand on the cup. I don't think about that, I only think about the next opponent. We will try to prepare as well as possible and enter tomorrow's match motivated and focused - said the Sutjeska coach Milorad Peković.

He spoke highly of today's rival:

- It will definitely be difficult. I said earlier that every game is difficult, because everyone is fighting for points. It is important that we play at home, because that is a special motivation for us. We are playing against a good team, which is fighting for every point. Mladost convincingly defeated Jezero in the previous round, we celebrated in the derby against Dečić, but as I said earlier - there are a lot of points in circulation", said Sutjeska coach Peković in the announcement of tomorrow's match.

The derby round, at least according to the positions in the table, is played by Petrovac and Mornar.

Third against second - an Adriatic, but also a "European" derby. The team from Petrovac is in a great run, having achieved four consecutive victories, while Mornar has also improved its form, having triumphed in the last two duels, including a convincing triumph against Buducnost (3:0).

- We are in good form, we have won four games and it would be nice to achieve another one before the mini-break. We know that a win takes us to second place, but we also know that we have a tough task ahead of us. Mornar is a very good team, with several individuals who can decide the game at any moment. We have analyzed our opponent and prepared the match. We are playing at home and we will do everything to win new points - said the Petrovac striker Savo Arambašić.

In the first part of the season, it was 1:1 in Petrovac, and 3:1 in Bar for Mornar.

- We expect another tough game. Petrovac is playing very well in the second half of the season. It will be demanding because of the pitch, but if we play like we did in the previous two games, we have a great chance of playing a good match - said the Baran goalkeeper Benjamin Krijestarac.

Fourth-placed Dečić plays Arsenal in Tivat, fifth-placed Budućnost plays Bokelj in Kotor - and is under a tremendous imperative to win.

The fans of Buducnost, the "barbarians", who were banned from organizing their cheering in the first six matches of the spring, due to the FSCG's punishment, will also return to the stands.

- We want a win, it would mean a lot to us before the break - he says Danilo Vukanić, a young national team player from the ranks of Buducnost.

- We have a demanding game ahead of us in every sense. First of all, psychologically, because we need a win to continue our fight for Europe. Then, there are no easy games in our league anymore, every match is a story in itself and positions in the table don't matter.

In the northern derby, Jezero will host Jedinstvo in Berane.

After today's round, the first league teams will take a two-week break due to the FIFA schedule intended for national teams, and the championship will resume on April 4th.
