Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has undergone surgery after breaking his right hand, the Turkish club announced. Galatasaray did not say how long the 27-year-old Nigerian striker's recovery will take.
Osimhen broke his arm in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Liverpool, when his team lost 4-0 to be eliminated from the European elite.
The former Napoli and Lille striker has played a total of 29 games this season and scored 19 goals for Galatasaray, who are leaders in the Turkish league table with 64 points, four more and a game less than second-placed Fenerbahçe.
