French football club Lens have refused to postpone their Ligue 1 match against Paris Saint-Germain next month, British media reported today. Paris Saint-Germain had requested that the match against Lens on April 11 be postponed, as the match is played between PSG's two Champions League quarter-final matches against Liverpool.
In a statement released late last night, Lance stated that he opposed the change in terms.
Lens is second in the table, a point behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain, who have a game in hand.
During the Champions League round of 16, Paris Saint-Germain postponed their match against Nantes so that the team would have an extra day of rest between the two matches against Chelsea.
