The President and Secretary General of the Football Association of Montenegro, Dejan Savićević and Momir Đurđevac, sent a letter of congratulations to the President and Secretary General of the NFSBIH, Vico Zeljković and Adnan Džemidžić, on the occasion of their national team's qualification for the upcoming World Cup.
Last night in Zenica, in the play-off final, BiH defeated Italy after penalties (4:1, after 120 minutes it was 1:1).
The letter from Savićević and Đurđevac states the following:
"On behalf of the Football Association of Montenegro and on my own behalf, we would like to extend our most sincere congratulations on the extraordinary success of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team, which, by defeating Italy, qualified for the final tournament of the World Cup, which will be held this summer in America, Canada and Mexico!
This exceptional result is a testament to the dedication, hard work and excellence of your players, coaching staff and everyone behind this great sporting story. Your success is an inspiration to all of us in the region and an indicator of how hard work and dedication can lead to great success on the international stage.
We wish you all the best of luck and success at the upcoming World Cup. I believe that the national team will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina with dignity, creating many more unforgettable moments and sporting successes.

BiH will play in Group B at the World Cup with the teams of Switzerland, Canada and Qatar.
The World Championship is scheduled from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
