Inter ended their three-game winless streak in Serie A in a fascinating way - by scoring five goals against Roma, a candidate for Champions League qualification.
The derby showed how big the difference is between the title contenders and fourth place, and the clash at the "Giuseppe Meaci" will be remembered primarily for the projectile Hakan Calhanoglu.
The Inter midfielder scored from around 35 metres by sending a "howitzer" towards the net. Mileta Svilar who was helpless because the ball changed direction several times on its way to him - in the end it failed to give the "Nera Azzurri" a 2:1 lead in first-half stoppage time (final score 5:2).
A similar goal, only from even greater distance, was scored by the Turk in a Hamburger jersey 11 years ago against Borussia Dortmund...
Erling Haaland was ruthless against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals, scoring a hat-trick, and Inter striker Lautaro Martinez also stood out, celebrating his return from injury with two goals against Roma.

THE GOALKEEPER
Trafford (Manchester City) - plan Pep Guardiola is that the English goalkeeper will be defending in cup competitions this season and it seems that was the right decision. He saved a penalty Mohamed Salah when the game is largely decided.

Semenyo (Manchester City) - entered the system Pep Guardiola and became irreplaceable. Perhaps the best player for the "citizens" since he arrived from Bournemouth in January.
ATTACK
Martinez (Inter) - how much Inter missed him. If it weren't for his injury, Milan and Napoli probably wouldn't have even thought they could jeopardize Lautaro and his teammates' bid for a 21st Scudetto.
Lewandowski (Barcelona) - throughout his career he has hit the net in absolutely every way, against Atletico he even managed to score a goal by accident - when the ball hit his shoulder and bounced into the net. Barça is racing towards a new title...
Murici (Mallorca) - the striker from Kosovo punished Real Madrid and "helped" Barca break away from first place.
Haaland (Manchester City) - some will say he's not as lethal as before, although the numbers say otherwise, but whatever - the Norwegian was playful enough to outsmart Liverpool's shaky defense three times.
