During the party distribution of positions at the Budućnost Football Club in mid-August, the Europe Now Movement was given the position of executive director when Predrag Kažić was appointed to that position.
What followed was probably the worst period for the Podgorica club since the restoration of independence, and apart from many coaches, more experienced players and foreigners, Kažić was the only culprit from the management structures who "emerged".
He was dismissed by the Board of Directors of Buducnost at today's meeting, following the dissatisfaction of other club leaders, as well as fans.
Kažić succeeded Novak Novaković as director, who was dismissed in mid-May in the midst of the scandal surrounding (not) obtaining a European license, the appointment of sports director Dejan Damjanović (without the permission of the then Supervisory Board) and the club's dire financial situation, as well as the investigation by the Special Prosecutor's Office into where the money from millions in transfers ended up.
He arrived about twenty days after Budućnost appointed Boris Spalević from Democratic Montenegro as its president.
After convincingly winning the title last year, Buducnost will not win a single trophy this season, and after finishing seventh in the first half of the season, they are now trying to return to the fight for UEFA competitions.
