The younger cadet football team of Montenegro was defeated by Belgium in the second round of the UEFA Development Tournament.
Belgium justified their role as favorites with a 3-0 victory. Cedric Van Dufel in the fourth minute and Jona Bije in the 28th minute announced the triumph, which was sealed by an own goal by Amar Suljević at the end of the match.
"Today's match against Belgium, in addition to showing the difference in technical quality between these two teams, showed once again that with a generation that you don't regularly improve your physical fitness with, you don't have much chance at this level. Regardless of our mistakes in scoring goals and two classic shots that we missed, Belgium's victory was not in question. We have one more match left in the tournament, where players who have played less so far will get a chance," said coach Radovan Kavaja.
In the third round of the tournament, on April 13th at 11 am, the "falcons" will meet Luxembourg.
