Can Tottenham survive? Supercomputer says they can't

Tottenham Hotspur are in a very difficult situation. Yesterday, in the 32nd round of the Premier League, Spurs were defeated away from home by Sunderland (1:0), and are in the relegation zone with 30 points, two less than West Ham, who are in a safe position.

There has been talk for some time about Tottenham moving to a lower league, and as the end of the season approaches, that possibility seems more and more real, and the chances of survival are getting smaller.

And the London team's chances of survival are increasingly slim according to the popular website Football Meets Data, which deals with projections and simulations of future outcomes. The website shared a simulation for the rest of the season on its X platform profile, and for the first time sees Tottenham as one of the candidates for relegation.

Tottenham will be in a tough fight for survival until the end of the season, in order to finish ahead of the competition and play in the Premier League next season. Spurs will play six more matches until the end, against Brighton, Wolverhampton, Aston Villa, Leeds, Chelsea and Everton.
