The Montenegrin women's national football team was defeated away from home by the Czech Republic (5:0) today in the third round of League B of the World Cup qualifiers.
The host justified their role as favorites, and Montenegro suffered their third defeat in as many matches in the qualifiers.
"I think we were insecure throughout the match, especially when it came to crosses from the flanks. We conceded all five goals that way," said coach Mirko Marić after the match.
The same rivals will meet on Saturday in Nikšić.
"The Czech national team has shown how far ahead they are of us at this moment," Marić pointed out.
