Carragher has information, English media write: Slott is staying at Liverpool

Dutchman Arne Slot will remain as Liverpool's coach next season, British media reported today.

Any doubts about Slot's future at Anfield are quickly fading, as the team is close to qualifying for the Champions League, Sky reported.

The top five teams in the Premier League will qualify for next season's Champions League, with Liverpool fifth in the table, seven points ahead of sixth-placed Chelsea and three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa.

Slott won the Premier League title with Liverpool last season, but is under pressure this season as the team will end the season without a trophy and is behind leaders Arsenal and Manchester City.

Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher said that fans are divided over whether Slot should stay at the club, but that he has information that the Dutchman will remain at Anfield next season.

Sky Sports has learned that Slot will stay, or rather that the management will support him during the summer, when the club is expecting a big deal in the player market, after Mohamed Salah announced his departure.
