The phenomenal series from the championship continued in the Cup - the eighth consecutive victory, a big step for Baran towards the second consecutive final.
Vesko Stešević's team dominated against Jezera at "Topolica", scored a goal in the 18th minute (Demir Škrijelj), created and missed many more chances, and then were forced to defend a bit in the final minutes, after Plav's late awakening.
However, it remains 1:0, ahead of the rematch in Berane on May 6th, in which Miodrag Džudović's team will also have their chance.
A nice move by Jan Jao and Nikola Stijepović was crowned by Demir Škrijelj who scored from the penalty area to give the home team the lead.
Barani danced on the hybrid surface of "Topolica" and could have crowned their total dominance with another goal.
Ilija Martinović and Jovan Baošić, and especially Jan Jao - the second ball did not end up in Šaban Kolić's net, however.
Things on the field changed ("balanced") when Džudović sent first-team players Milivoj Raičević, Đorđe Maksimović and Petar Bogdanović into the game, the best players who started on the bench.
The guests came closest in the 54th minute, when Matija Božović failed to capitalize on Aldin Adžović's cross from a good position.
At the very end of the period of Jezera's dominance - without classic chances, but with constant danger in the penalty area - on the other side, Sekulić was late for a ball, with which he could have almost solved everything.
The second leg is on May 6th, and the final on May 28th.
