Marko Šćepanović is no longer the coach of Mladost Lob.Beta, the club announced from the "DG Arena".
The farewell came after yesterday's defeat to Mornar (2:1) in the 31st round of the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League. There are still five rounds left in the championship, and Mladost is in the play-off zone, in eighth place, with 36 points and three points behind Jezera, which is in the safe zone.
Mladost and Šćepanović parted ways by mutual consent.
"We thank him for his work so far, his professional attitude and the contribution he made during his engagement with the club. This decision was made due to results that were not in line with the club's expectations and goals for the current season. The club will inform the public in due time about further steps and the appointment of a new head coach," Mladost announced, wishing Šćepanović much luck and success in the continuation of his professional career.
In the next round, Mladost will play away to Budućnost.
