The Sailor Doesn't Want to Stop, Baošić: We Have the Right to Dream

The last defeat of the season was suffered by Mornar's players on March 7th, away to Jedinstvo Franci, when the score was 1:0.

After that, Vesko Stešević's team played brilliantly, racking up nine wins, including the Cup, and reducing the gap behind Sutjeska to just two points.

And Mornar has a chance to continue the series today (19) in Bar against Jedinstvo, who last defeated Barani. There are five rounds left in the championship, Mornar does not want to stop, and will also follow the events in Kotor, where the duel between Bokelj SBBet and Sutjeska begins at the same time.

"There are still five rounds to go. We have two very difficult matches ahead of us in Bar against Jedinstvo and Bokelj. Each match is a story in itself, but these guys are truly willing and ready to give the fans a joy they have not yet experienced," said Mornar player Jovan Baošić for Radio Bar and Bar Info.

Mornar's primary goal was to reach Europe, but now appetites are increasing.

"The goal has been achieved, but a lot has opened up for us and of course we will try to embrace it with both hands to make another historic achievement. We are taking it game by game, the next one is the most important. We are giving our maximum in every match, and the same will be true in the next one, although we are aware that it will not be easy. On the other hand, we have the right to enjoy these days, to dream a little more, and more because it is called a title. We play the next two games in front of our fans, against teams that are desperately fighting for survival. These are difficult games, but we have to stay focused until the end in order to continue our winning streak. Jedinstvo is a quality team, they have good players, but on the other hand, if we are at our maximum, there should be no problems," the Barana defender points out.

Baošić recently celebrated a significant anniversary – over 100 matches played in a Mornar jersey.

"It's every player's dream. It's not often in this region that a player spends so much time at one club. I'm impressed by the attention and I hope for new anniversaries," said Baošić.
