Enrique praised Bulatović's team: For the first time in my three seasons, there is a real rival here

Paris Saint-Germain football coach Luis Enrique said that this year's French championship title was the sweetest and hardest-won title since he was at the club.

PSG defeated Lens, our Andrija Bulatović and this season's biggest rival, 2:0 last night, winning their 14th championship title, and their fifth in a row. With one round remaining in Ligue 1, PSG has nine points ahead of Lens.

"This is the sweetest and hardest-won title, the hardest in the last three years, without a doubt. For the first time in my three seasons, there is a real rival here," said Enrique, who took over at PSG in 2023, after the match.

"That's because Lens did a very good job. I remember certain moments from this season, the games they won and the number of consecutive games they won... It was difficult, we had to deal with it," Enrique added.

The work for Luis Enrique and his team this season is not yet done, as they face the Champions League final against Arsenal in Budapest on May 30th.

Lens also has another important match coming up - the French Cup final against Nice on May 22nd.
