The farce continues at the Budućnost Football Club.
Tomorrow at 20pm, Buducnost will host Mornar in the 34th round of the championship, and Srđan Radonjić will serve as the coach for that match and until the end of the season.
Radonjić was the favorite of Mayor Saša Mujović and Varvara, while the truncated Board of Directors proposed Duško Globarević.
The coach, however, is once again just one segment of the chaos that reigns in the club. After the resignation of president Boris Spalević, according to the Statute, the entire Board of Directors was supposed to be dissolved, but the Assembly, which was practically scheduled for today last night, was not held.
However, these are procedural matters, given that 14 days must pass from the date of scheduling the Assembly to the date of its holding.
As we learn, the management of the football club has been elevated to the highest level of political relations in the capital. The parties that make up the government in Podgorica do not want to lose influence in Budućnost at any cost, and this fight is being waged even at the highest political level.
The cost of a rift in the football club could even shake the ruling coalition, perhaps even more than the construction of the collector in Botun.
Currently, the remaining members of the Board of Directors are Ninoslav Kaluđerović, Mileta Šćepanović, Nikola Marković, Duško Globarević - and they do not want to step down at any cost. The representative of Varvara, Emin Isić, also remains.
In addition to President Spalević, Feđa Smatlik submitted his resignation. The Movement for Podgorica party, which he represented on the Board of Directors, and one of whose leading figures is his sister Nađa Liljanić, appealed yesterday for the entire Board of Directors to resign.
