Manchester City are battling Arsenal for the Premier League title, and today they will decide who will win the FA Cup trophy against another London club - Pep Guardiola's team's rival is Chelsea, and the match at Wembley starts at 16 p.m.
The 145th final of the oldest club competition is on the program, City is the favorite, and will try to win this trophy for the eighth time in history, and the second time in the last four years.
And City coach Pep Guardiola has a chance to win his 20th trophy with the Manchester team today.
"Yes, certainly 19 trophies in ten years, that's not so bad. They don't have to wait for me to leave, because they already know that it was fun with me," Guardiola said.
The Spaniard joined City in 2016 and his contract expires next year. There have been rumours that this is his last season at the club, but he has denied this.
"I'm leaving? No way! I still have one year left on my contract," said Guardiola.
The FA Cup is of great importance to English clubs, part of the tradition.
"The English should be proud of all the competitions, it is top-notch in all aspects. Sometimes there is fatigue, but that is the calendar, with many games and few days to rest, that is the characteristic of big competitions," says Guardiola.
A lot is expected of Haaland today. And Guardiola made an interesting comment on the fact that the Norwegian has not scored a goal in the finals for City.
"Oh, no, really? It's good, I like these questions. Now it's going to happen. Don't ask me about the other side. Now it's good, Erling will score a goal," Guardiola is convinced.
