Pep Guardiola won his 20th trophy as Manchester City manager, his third in the FA Cup, the "citizens" took their second trophy in England this season, after the League Cup, while Chelsea's horrific season reached its culmination.
It is the epilogue of the final of the oldest football competition in the world, in in which City beat Chelsea 1-0 in front of 80 spectators at Wembley.
The mastery of Antoine Semeny, a January signing from Bournemouth, was overwhelming, as he scored the decisive goal with his fifth in the 72nd minute, assisted by Haaland.
"A big win, but I don't think there will be too many celebrations tonight," Semenyo said.
City has a chance to complete a domestic hat-trick, with two rounds remaining and still in the Premier League title race, two points behind leaders Arsenal, and they will be visiting Semenyov's former team on Tuesday.
Chelsea, on the other hand, ended one of the worst seasons in the club's recent history.
They also missed out on a place in Europe, because if they had won the FA Cup they would have at least qualified for the Europa League. They are currently ninth in the Premier League table, if they finish eighth they will go to the Conference League.
Prince William presented the trophy to City captain Bernardo Silva, who will retire from the City shirt at the end of the season.
"We are very happy. For me, this is special because it is my last season and I am glad to have brought another trophy. I hope it is not the last. I hope we can still have a little dream of fighting for the Premier League title," said Silva.
He will only play two more games for City. He arrived in 2017, played over 300 games, and was coached by only one coach.
"Guardiola changed the way I look at football. I spent about 80% of my career with him as a coach. Everything I hoped to achieve, I achieved with him. The relationship we have is very strong, built through successes and frustrations," Silva said.
