The Japanese Gamba Osaka players won the Asian Champions League 2 title tonight, after defeating Al Nasr 1-0 in the final in Riyadh. Deniz Humet scored the only goal in the 29th minute.
Al Nasr, for whom Cristiano Ronaldo plays, had more possession of the ball and more chances to score, but they were unable to capitalize on it, as the Japanese team defended well and in an organized manner.
Ronaldo missed good chances at the end of the first half and Joao Felix 13 minutes before the end.
Ronaldo joined Al Nasr in December 2022 and has yet to win a trophy with the team. The Portuguese could win the Saudi Professional League title, as Al Nasr has a two-point lead over Al Hilal heading into the final round.
