Arsenal players are close to the title after defeating Burnley 1-0 last night in London, in the 37th round of the Premier League, thanks to a goal from Kai Havertz.
Arsenal are five points clear of Manchester City, who host Bournemouth tonight (20.30pm). Mikel Arteta's team could still celebrate the title tonight, provided City don't win.
"We knew it wouldn't be easy because we knew what this match meant. We're happy, but it's short-lived and we're already starting to worry again. We played one of our best matches, we could have scored two, three goals," Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta said after the match, adding that he didn't see the controversial situation in the 68th minute, when Havertz received a yellow card after a sharp start.
Arsenal will follow the developments in tonight's match between Bournemouth and City.
"Anything is possible in the Premier League, we will all watch that match. But I don't know if we will all watch it together. However, we have to prepare properly for Crystal Palace."
Finally, Arteta also reflected on the atmosphere at the Emirates.
"It is a pleasure to see the transformation and the way each and every one of you has turned this place into a wonderful world of enjoyment in football matches. This is the soul of football and this club, you have all contributed to it. Rest assured that every time you come to this stadium we have an obligation to uphold this standard all together because you make a huge difference for all of us and for the players," concluded Arteta.
