Bayern deny interest in Englishman

Bayern are not bringing in reinforcements from Manchester City this summer - this is the message from sporting director Max Eberl.

Namely, the island media have been writing in recent days about the Bavarians wanting John Stones, but it seems nothing has come of it.

"That news is not true," Eberl is clear.

Bayern is covered at the centre-back positions.

"We have extended the contracts of some players and we have a very well-staffed team. There will be no significant changes, except in one or two positions," said Eberl.

Stones is leaving City after 10 years, and he could continue his career in Serie A, as he has reportedly been offered to current champion Inter.
