When big names in Montenegrin football speak of a young footballer in superlatives, those words often lead players in a different direction. However, Andrija Bulatović does not seem like someone who will be unnecessarily elevated by the praise.

The pearl of Montenegrin football is always firmly on the ground, smiling and humble - both now when he wears the Lance jersey, and when he played on our fields.

Bulatović was praised by one of the most experienced players in our national team, Marko Janković, before the test match with Slovakia (Friday, 6:30 PM), and he heard similar words at the press conference in Košice from coach Mirko Vučinić.

- He just needs to keep going like this. With his mindset and the work he shows every day, he will be one of the best midfielders in Europe - our legendary footballer has no doubt.

Andrija responded to everything in his own way.

- I appreciate the compliments from the coach and teammates. I thank them for that, I try to stay grounded and work harder to improve. There is no reason why I shouldn't stay that way, learn day by day, and get better and better - Bulatović emphasized.

Our midfielder did not start three days ago against Bulgaria, but he will lead the "falcons" from the first minute against the Slovaks tomorrow.

- Slovakia is a serious team, they showed it in the World Cup qualifiers. Great respect for them. But we respect ourselves and believe in the coach and the details he presents to us. We want to play a good game - Bulatović emphasized.

He praised his teammates for their performance against Bulgaria and the 1-0 victory.

- Bulgaria is a good team and all the boys played a good match against such a team. We tried to play from the goalkeeper, we worked on it and it paid off. It would be nice if it was like that now. We will see how everything turns out, but we will definitely give 100 percent for this jersey and I hope that we will end the June cycle with a victory and welcome the Nations League matches in the best possible atmosphere - Bulatović is clear.

The first season in League 1 - which is like heaven and earth compared to ours - was ideal. Bulatović got a lot of chances, and he grabbed each one in the right way. With Lens, he secured the Champions League and won the Cup.

- I'm satisfied because this was my first season in France. I played more than 20 matches and I can be satisfied. We are the vice-champions of France, we won the Cup, from that point of view I can be very satisfied - concluded Bulatović.
