The frozen "falcons" in the cold October Torshavn for Mirko Vučinić's debut, the images are so distant now. Two away games without defeat - after a victory over Bulgaria (1:0), our country's football players drew with Slovakia in Košice (2:2).

Of course, there are still a lot of things that Vučinić and his boys will have to fix before September and the Nations League, especially on the left side where both goals were conceded, but the impression is that Montenegro like this has something to hope for when the competitive matches start.

Marko Janković showed that he is the soul of this team, Sead Hakšabanović how good it is to be back, Milutin Osmajić that he is becoming a goal machine for Montenegro (seven goals in the last seven matches for the Falcons), and everyone else who got the chance that Vučinić can count on them.

Igor Vujačić opened well for Osmajić, and the Preston striker and Hakšabanović threw out the entire home defense with an attractive double pass, after which the Nikšić player checked Jakub Surovčik (1:1).

After Liechtenstein, Croatia, Andorra and Slovenia (twice), Osmajić also scored against Slovakia.

Montenegro could have confirmed the victory in the 73rd minute from a counterattack, this time captain Adam Marušić was elusive, he passed to Hakšabanović, but the offensive midfielder put it wide of the goal.

And instead of 3:1, the scoreboard at the "Football Arena Košice" quickly showed 2:2. Vujačić played an excellent match at that moment, but then he misjudged one ball, Duda took advantage of everything and defeated Dubljanić.

Montenegro did not give up, they tried to achieve triumph, Driton Camaj and Viktor Đukanović tried until the end, but both of their shots ended up past the left post of the Slovakian goal.
