The Falcons were not defeated in June, but Vučinić is sharp and angry: We must not give away, neither can Brazil and France

There were no defeats during the June test matches, Montenegro showed a lot of good things against Bulgaria (1:0) and Slovakia (2:2), but coach Mirko Vučinić was angry and harsh after the test in Košice.

Our national football team was non-existent during the first 30 minutes against Slovakia, and conceded two naive goals, after mistakes that could have easily been avoided.

- What do these two matches tell us? We are satisfied with the results, it is good that we did not lose, but we should be aware that we did not do anything. Even if we had lost, nothing would have changed, the boys must understand that we cannot afford to give away 35 minutes of the first half to our rival. I am angry about that - said Vučinić at the press conference and continued in the same tone.

- Neither Brazil, nor France, nor many other powers can afford that, let alone us. We are a small Montenegro, but eager to work, put in effort and will. And let other national teams give gifts, we must not get into that situation.

Vučinić often emphasizes that he wants his players to fight hard for the trophy, for their teammates - does he feel that the "falcons" are now close to that mentality?

- It is true that we have made a big step forward, both in training and in matches. The players are fighting, they have the desire, that is not in dispute. On the other hand, we have a rival who is trying to threaten us in every way and we have to act as a team, to know where we are going. We have to work on that - stressed Vučinić.

About easy goals conceded.

- We conceded both goals cheaply, naively. That looks really ugly. We lacked concentration. I will analyze the situation with my colleagues, I will also talk to the players at the next meeting. We have to find a solution because this is not good - added the Montenegro coach.

He once again emphasized what he was angry about.

- The intention in these two matches was to give everyone a chance. Since I have been the coach, everyone has been given a chance. No one can "turn up their nose" if they don't play. I have a clear picture of all the players. There were nine new starters compared to Bulgaria, four didn't play in that match at all, and we didn't have enough time to prepare for this match. That can be an excuse for them in a way, but it is certainly unacceptable to give the first 35 minutes to the opponent - said Vučinić.

Will everything be better when the first stars are here - Stevan Jovetić, Nikola Krstović and Stefan Savić.

- It will certainly be much easier with them, I will have more solutions. Also, Vukotić and Vešović were not in this match, and Aleksa Latković, who received a call-up to the "A" selection for the first time, was absent from both. I like what I saw from him - Vučinić emphasized.

Sead Hakšabanović played a great match.

- Hakšabanović has been my "pick" from the beginning, I know what qualities he has, and when I talked to him about his intentions, about whether he even wants to play for the national team again, he immediately told me that he wants to and that he can't wait to be called up. To that, I replied that he has to respect some things, primarily in terms of fighting, running, that he has to be punctual at meetings, lunch, dinner... I have only words of praise for his behavior and play - said Vučinić.
