Osmajić: With the help of the selectors, we will get all this in order

Milutin Osmajić has scored seven goals in the last seven matches for the Montenegrin national team.

In a friendly draw against Slovakia (2:2) that offered a little more optimism ahead of the Nations League than was the case before the June deadline, the Preston striker once again showed how important he is to Mirko Vučinić's team's offensive performance.

Marko Janković pointed out that progress is visible from match to match and that the break was well used for the team to get into shape.

"We can see progress, it's not easy in this period of the season and in transition, but there are many positive things. We are better and better adopting the coach's demands and we are optimistically waiting for September," said Janković.

One of the most notable players in the draw was Milutin Osmajić, who scored both goals for Montenegro, while youngster Andrija Bulatović said the team deserved more than a point.

"Against Bulgaria we showed a desire to win, and none of that was missing in the match with Slovakia. We didn't triumph, but there was no lack of fight, running and desire. I believe that with the help of the coach we will get everything in order and I don't think there will be any problems. From the first day we gathered at every training session, it was clear that everyone wanted to play and run. With the help of the young guys, this will be a pretty good generation," Osmajić said to RTCG after the duel in Košice.

In his 35th match for the national team, Osmajić scored his eighth and ninth goals. He also scored twice in the March match against Slovenia in Podgorica (2:2).

"This game is exciting, the boys are playing exceptionally. The most important thing is that we all fight for each other, which is what the coach asks of us, so that we all die for this emblem," said Andrija Bulatović, who also showed how knowledgeable he is about the Montenegrin team's game.

"I hope that in the upcoming period in the League of Nations we will emerge as a real team, as we have shown in these two games, and try to take 1st place," concluded the Lanca midfielder in a statement to RTCG after the match.
