Džudović is no longer the coach of Jezera: I am leaving proud of everything we have achieved together

Miodrag Džudović is no longer the coach of Jezera.

Džudović has been the head coach of Jezera since October 2024, when he succeeded Boris Milicković. He has twice led Jezera to survival through the play-offs, and was voted the best coach in the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League for 2025.

"FK Jezero expresses its sincere gratitude to the previous head coach, Miodrag Džudović, for his dedicated work, professionalism and contribution to our club during our journey together. Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, energy and everything you have done for the blue and white colors. Your work and attitude towards the club have left a mark that will remain part of Jezero's history," the club announced.

Jezero and Džudović part ways with great respect, and the club wishes the former coach much happiness, health and success in the continuation of his coaching career and life.

"As a man of our region, Plav has always been and remains your home. You are always welcome in our and your Plav, among your people and your Jezero. In us you will always have sincere friends, support and respect that you have earned with your work and human qualities. Thank you for everything and good luck in your new challenges," Jezero announced.

After the club's announcement, Džudović also spoke out.

"Dear President, players, coaching staff, fans and all friends of FK Jezera, After a year and eight months spent as the head coach of FK Jezera, I have made the decision to complete my mission at the club. I am leaving proud of everything we have achieved together. When I took over the team, we were in last place in the table. We believed in each other, worked hard and showed character when it was the most difficult. We managed to preserve our first league status through the play-off against FK Rudar," said Džudović and added.

"The following season, we wrote one of the most beautiful pages in the club's recent history. During the first part of the championship, we were one of the most pleasant surprises in the league, and reaching the semi-finals of the Montenegrin Cup was a confirmation of our work, quality and togetherness. Although we faced a large number of injuries and problems in the second part of the season that affected the results, the team did not give up. Once again, we showed strength of character, togetherness and through the play-off against FK Iskra, we managed to survive in an impressive way," Džudović pointed out.

Džudović said that he was particularly honored to be recognized as the best coach of Montenegro in 2025.

"I do not see this recognition as a personal award, but as an award for the entire club – for the players who believed in our work, for my associates, for the Management that supported me and for all the people who love FK Jezero. I would like to thank the President of the Municipality of Plav Nihad Canović, the club president Ervin Tošić, all the employees at the club, the medical team, my associates in the coaching staff and, above all, the players. Thank you for your professionalism, trust and every moment we have spent together, whether they were moments of celebration or challenges."

Džudović thanked the fans and citizens of Plav.

"From the first day, I felt your support, respect and love for the club. Your energy was an additional motivation to give our maximum every day for the FK Jezero emblem. I am leaving the club with a clear conscience, convinced that we have left a stable foundation and that FK Jezero has a future that it can be proud of. I carry with me many beautiful memories, friendships and emotions that will forever remain a part of me," concluded Džudović.
