After a year and a half of maturing in Bologna's youth team, the time has come for real senior and competitive football in Italy - Bodin Tomašević will play in Mantova, a member of Serie B, next season.
The talented defender will play for Mantova as a loan player.
The former youth national team player of Montenegro has played 36 matches for Bologna's Primavera in the Italian youth (U20) championship since January 2025. Last season, he was also the captain and was selected in the best team of the season.
He was on the bench for the first team several times, in Serie A and Italian Super Cup matches.
Tomašević turned 20 last month, and Bologna estimated that the matches for Mantova, in a demanding league like Serie B, would be invaluable for him in gaining experience and preparing for his return to the team, which has an important role in the strongest Italian league.
Mantova finished ninth last season, and is also known in Italy as the club where Dino Zof, one of the best goalkeepers of all time, began his professional career.
