The Board of Directors of Budućnost has officially been dissolved, Mujović has gathered a sponsorship pool

Big changes at the Budućnost Football Club. Saša Mujović, the mayor of Podgorica, officially dissolved the Board of Directors today, as "Vijesti" previously announced.

At today's meeting, the club assembly completed the formalities that had been waiting to be put on the agenda for a month, after which the sponsorship pool was gathered and a new Board of Directors was formed.

Boro Mijović (Ljetopis automotive), Petar Vujošević (Wiener Stadtische), Aleksandar Bogavac (Montefarm), Marko Janjević (representative of the labor union), and then the president of the first championship team of Budućnost from 2008, Kemal Đečević... are the names that will lead Budućnost.

Vesna Brajović, Mujović's chief of staff, will be appointed as the chairwoman of the Board of Directors, as a representative of the capital.

With the arrival of sponsors and the formation of a new Board of Directors, the way Buducnost is run, which has so far belonged to political parties, will change.

Ninoslav Kaluđerović, Mileta Šćepanović and Nikola Marković were dismissed as delegated representatives of political parties, as well as the coach of the women's team, Duško Globarević, who sat on the Board of Directors on behalf of the working community.

After a disastrous season and the general devastation of the club at all levels, they refused to resign, unlike former board president Boris Spalević and board member Feđa Smatlik, who at least took responsibility and stepped down on their own.

Coach Miodrag Božović also resigned, but sports director Nenad Maslovar refused to do so and will be formally dismissed.

The Budućnost football club, as a joint-stock company, is majority-owned by the Capital City (99,8 percent of the shares), and Mujović, as the mayor of Podgorica, represents the founder - or rather the owner - of the club.

Miodrag Radulović rejected the offer to become the club's sports director this morning, so the Podgorica club will likely have to look for a new solution.

The coach, as things stand now, will be Srđan Radonjić, who finished the season as a temporary solution on the bench.
