Montenegrin footballer Bojan Damjanović is continuing his career in Slovakia's Košice, the club officially announced.
The defender arrived in Košice on loan from Sutjeska until the end of the season, after which the Slovak club has the option to buy out the contract.
Damjanović was born in Sutjeska, where he spent the rest of his career, with the exception of the 2024/2025 season, when he was on loan at Mladost Lob.Bet. He scored four goals in the previous season for Sutjeska.
"Vladimir Perišić, who played here last season, and his father Goran, who is the coach of the Montenegrin youth national team, gave me positive information about the club," said Damjanović at the presentation.
Košice is the first club abroad for the 20-year-old from Nikšić.
"This is all new to me. But I want to progress and gain experience. I believe I will do well to help the club achieve its goals. I am looking forward to the new season," said Damjanović.
Last season, Vladimir Perišić played for Košice on loan from Slavia Prague, while Aleksa Maraš will also be on the team next season.
