According to well-informed football insider Fabricio Romano, the Red Devils have paid Aston Villa's €41 million release clause. The Old Trafford giants have also reached a verbal agreement with the Belgian midfielder.
Tielemans played six games at the World Cup, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Both goals came in the round of 32 in a dramatic comeback against Senegal.
He did not play against Spain in the quarter-finals due to injury, which was a major handicap for Rudi Garcia's team.
