Last week in Kazakhstan, Sutjeska's players missed a great chance to achieve a favorable result in the first match of the first round of Champions League qualifying - they were defeated by Kairat (2:1), and they conceded the second goal in the 92nd minute after a mistake in midfield.
The team from Nikšić, therefore, has a goal deficit, but the result is still active ahead of tomorrow's (21) rematch in Nikšić.
"We can and must be satisfied with what we showed in the first match. We regret that goal conceded in the last minutes of the game. We are playing at home, we are aware that we have an active result and that we have to nullify their advantage," said Sutjeska coach Milorad Peković in the match announcement.
Sutjeska will not rush from the start, the goal is to cautiously and patiently get to the opponent's goal.
"We have to be careful, we can't rush, because we know that Kairat is a good and quality team. We have to be careful and patient - the way we played there gives us hope of getting through. To be disciplined, to use the space that is created for us and to try to threaten the goal from those situations," explained Peković.
The coach of the Montenegrin champion is satisfied with the performance in the first match.
"It's certainly an advantage when you have rhythm, when you're in the season. But we don't look at that. We're getting ready for the game, what the guys showed in the first match is a very enviable level. We tried to rest and refresh ourselves and be ready for the second leg," said Peković, who will be able to count on all the players tomorrow.
Captain Vladan Giljen says that Sutjeska can play with the champion of Kazakhstan.
"In the first game we saw that we could play. I think we overestimated them then, and they underestimated us. We certainly don't enter the match with a white flag even though we are a goal behind," Guillen pointed out.

Sutjeska will play its first match of the new season tomorrow in front of its home fans at the "Gradski" stadium. Peković is hoping for a big support near Bistrica.
"I think Kairat is an attractive opponent, if we have a good result it is certainly a good overture for the rematch. The support would mean a lot to us and there will certainly be a lot of spectators, which is certainly in our favor," said the coach of Sutjeska.
The match is being played on the same date (21) as the semi-final of the World Cup between England and Argentina. That's why Sutjeska has invited all fans, despite the great spectacle in the USA, to come to the stadium near Bistrica and support the Montenegrin champion.
"This is an opportunity to invite football fans to Nikšić. This is a special moment - the support of all the people who love Sutjeska means a lot to us. The presence of fans gives us the wind at our backs," said Peković.
Giljen is also hoping for support from fans.
"I hope that the stands will be full and that we will achieve a good result. We know that the timing is not the best. I am sure that people who love Sutjeska will come, that the stands will be filled and that we will give our maximum and make all the people of Nikšić happy," concluded the captain of Sutjeska.
