Buducnost has signed a new player for the upcoming season, and the new player for the "blues" is Sharif Osman from Ghana.
Buducnost has agreed a one-year deal with the 23-year-old midfielder. Sharif signed the contract today, and will have his third training session with the team tonight.
The left-footed player joined the blue and white team from the Turkish second division team Hatayspor, for whom he played the previous half-season (14 games, one goal). In his career, he also wore the jerseys of Bulgarian teams CSKA Sofia 1948, Etar and Dobrudzha, while in his homeland he played for Inter Milas.
The 185-centimeter-tall defensive midfielder describes himself as a strong player who is confident on the ball, and he knows very well where he came from: he shared the locker room with our former full-backs Ognjen Gašević and Dragan Grivić.
"I spoke to them last year when they arrived in Bulgaria, we talked about the club, but also about Montenegro in general. I know very well where I came from and I know what Buducnost represents for the city and the fans," Osman told the club's website.
Buducnost signed Abraham Koudemor from Ghana 18 years ago, who was a leader in midfield and who later secured a transfer to Belgian club Charleroi – Osman was informed that his compatriot was at Buducnost, he had heard of him… But, he wants to present himself in the best possible way.
"Buducnost is a club with great ambitions and I believe that I will help the team achieve the best possible results. I want to be maximally prepared at all times, I will try to always perform at the highest possible level, and it is certain that I will always give my best. That way I will best help the team, because in the end, the team is the most important thing."
He knew about Budućnost, he knew about Podgorica, and then it's logical that he also heard about the fans...
"I've seen the atmosphere they create, I can't wait to see them during the season. Of course I've heard about them, they're the best in the country, they create a great atmosphere and I believe I'll repay them with good games. And the club, and the city, and the fans. All for Buducnost," said the new Buducnost reinforcement.
