Petrovac's players were defeated in the second match by Zalgiris in the Conference League qualifiers - after the previous Thursday in Podgorica it was 3:1, tonight the Lithuanian team celebrated 2:1 at home in Vilnius and eliminated the Montenegrin representative from Europe.
This continues the series of poor results for Montenegrin clubs in Europe this summer, who suffered their seventh defeat in the seventh match.
The first half was dominated by Žalgiris, the home team threatened and had chances, so in the 12th minute Litviyenko shot from about 16 meters, but the ball ended up wide of the goal, while in the final minute Šešplaukis tried from distance, but the score did not change.
Petrovac threatened in the first half through Arambašić, but the ball went for a corner.
In the second half, the Montenegrin representative had more chances, the home goalkeeper was uncertain on several occasions, but Kapisoda and Boljević failed to find the way to the net.
And then Zalgiris took the lead in the 60th minute - Kapisoda played with his hand, the referee pointed to a penalty, and Petković scored from 11 meters for 1:0.
After conceding a goal, Petrovac tried through Striković and Balević, and on the other side in the 75th minute Mihailović entered the penalty area, positioned himself and scored for 2:0, three minutes after entering the game.
By the end of the match, Petrovac managed to score a goal, and the scorer was Selimi.
Petrovac has completed its European adventure and is now awaiting the start of the domestic championship, where they will play against Bokelj on home soil in the first round, on August 2nd.
