Dragićević: We could have won; Radonjić: We made rookie mistakes

Arsenal and Buducnost played to a draw (0:0) in Tivat last night, in the third round of the MeridianBet First Montenegrin Football League.

The team from Tivat finished their third league match this season without goals, while Budućnost recorded their first draw, after beating Sutjeska (1:0) and losing to Dečić.

Arsenal had the best chance in the final seconds, the Tivat team also hit the post, and in the end they managed to get a point.

"A great game, lots of running, tactical tasks. The players fulfilled what we agreed on. We forced Buducnost to make a lot of mistakes. We had significant chances, but we didn't score. We are not satisfied with the point, but we could have won all three. Goalkeeper Domazetović saved a clean sheet in stoppage time. We all saw the ball in the net in the stadium, but he reacted fantastically. He will come back to us in some other games. We play with two strikers, and many people don't understand, so they say that we pay more attention to defense. We are going according to our idea and it works well," Arsenal coach Radisav Dragićević told Radio Tivat.

Arsenal will play away against Bokelj SBBet in the next round (Sunday, 20pm), while Buducnost will play away to Mornar (Friday, 20pm).

"We made some rookie mistakes which led to the hosts' chances. They didn't surprise us, we knew how Arsenal would play. As for the rhythm of the game, I think we controlled it. The race was good, the desire. The heat was great and because of that, maybe there were more mistakes. We took the point, we're moving on. Our goalkeeper reacted fantastically in the last moments of the match. But, before that, there were five of our players. They had the ball and the opposing player took it from them, and we almost conceded a goal. We have a lot of young and talented players, I said there would be oscillations. Keep your heads up, let's move on," Budućnost coach Srđan Radonjić told Radio Tivat.
