There is no longer any dilemma - Rodri is Barcelona's new player.

It was known yesterday, and although the "blaugrana" has not yet officially announced it, the best footballer of the recently concluded World Cup has landed in Barcelona. A contract signing and presentation will follow.

A large crowd of journalists awaited him at the airport. The 2024 Ballon d'Or winner addressed them.

"I'm happy. It's been an intense few days, but I'm happy that everything has been resolved. Of course, playing for Barcelona is a dream come true! I can't wait to be with my teammates, most of whom I know. Winning the Champions League? Let's go win all the trophies," Rodri said after landing in Barcelona.

As a reminder, yesterday all reliable sources reported that Barcelona and Manchester City have reached a final agreement on the transfer. The Spanish champions will pay a fixed fee of 60 million euros, while the "citizens" will receive over 70 million euros through various bonuses.

Rodri has been a member of Manchester City since 2019, with whom he won the Premier League four times, and in 2023, he scored the title-winning goal in the Champions League final.

This summer, as captain, he led Spain to the World Cup title.
