Portuguese Jose Mourinho was officially introduced as Real Madrid coach, and at a press conference he spoke about his biggest stars - Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius.
Mbappe was the target of criticism from Real Madrid fans last season.
"His level is stratospheric. He's incredible. He makes me laugh in training how much better he is. After the World Cup he was supposed to come on August 14th, but he came on the 12th to play against Schalke. I like that, he trains hard, with the dedication and desire that I want to see in everyone," Mourinho said.
Vinicius was wanted by Arsenal this summer, but the Brazilian remained at Real.
"I told him to stay. I wanted him here and there's nowhere like Real Madrid," said the Portuguese.
He also spoke about the coaches who led the team last season - Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa.
"I came with such excitement, I'm hungry. Xabi Alonso and Arbeloa paid the price. Many factors influence wins and losses. Many people have fallen. Not only coaches and players, but also people within the club," Mourinho concluded.
